The Free-Roam Arena at Arctic Sun VR spans over 400 square feet. While the actual play space and arena matting occupy 400 square feet, the arena walls are positioned 6 inches beyond the matting, offering an additional buffer of space.

This varies from experience to experience. Most of the Free-Roam Arena games can host 2-6 players while some can only host up to 4 players.

We currently offer wide variety of games in the Free-Roam Arena here at Arctic Sun VR including two different groups of 15 minute mini-games as well as longer, 30 minute and hour-long options. We are always expanding our arena game offerings so be sure to check the page often for new games.

Due to the precise tracking of the headsets worn by each player, individuals can see each other within the VR environment, preventing any collisions. This mechanism mirrors real-life interactions where we see others and naturally avoid bumping into them.

There are no wires or cables with the Arena Scale VR. The VR headsets used in the Free-Roam Arena are HTC Vive Focus 3 and they use wireless streaming over wifi 6e, giving guests a superior VR experience without all the restrictions from cables and tethers.

However, it's always advisable to move cautiously, especially when immersed in intense or fast-paced VR experiences.

We advise that guests be a minimum of 8 years old to participate in the Free-Roam Arena experiences. However, for the games "After the Fall" and "Arizona Sunshine LBVR" within the Free-Roam Arena, we recommend a minimum age of 13 years old for participation.
